Solar Control Reflective Glazing

Stopsol is a reflective glass in which the glass surface is coated with a thin metal oxide by online CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) method.

Stopsol glass provides high solar shading performance by reflecting the sunlight. It has strong surface durability and resistance to degradation. The reflective aesthetics will also contribute to the privacy from outside view.

Product Features

STOPSOL is available in 3 types of coatings:

STOPSOL Supersilver with a silverish appearance
STOPSOL Classic with an amber reflection
STOPSOL SilverLight with a bluish outlook

Appearance of the glass will depend very much on 3 factors:

Color of the substrate
Thickness and compositions of the glass used
Type and positioning of the coating

The tint gives it best effect when the coating is installed in position 2. However, thermal treatment such as tempering or heat strengthening should be considered, as energy absorption will be slightly higher.

Product Applications

Stopsol is a hard coated product and the coating is highly durable and easy to process;

Single glazing
Insulated glazing in combination with clear float glass or low emissivity glass
Laminated glass (solar control with anti UV and safety)
Enameled glass, curved glass
Safety glass (tempered glass)
Acoustic glazing: using acoustic PVB or double glazing compositions
Silkscreen printed glass
