From September of 2007, on the occasion of Asahi Glass Company’s 100th anniversary, the group brand unites globally under “AGC”. We are taking this opportunity to adopt the new brand logo above to be used worldwide and to incorporate AGC in the legal names of group companies.

The unified brand logo worldwide:

The new logo represents the image of AGC’s strength and presence, while the vermillion color in the center of the letter “G” is designed to display the flame of energy symbolizing how active we are as a group.

To make the unification of the group brand well-recognized by the public, AGC has made a worldwide advertisement plan. In China, AGC has launched a billboard alongside the expressway near Shanghai Pudong International Airport. AGC will also put advertisement in China Business News, Shanghai Morning Post and Beijing Youth Daily on Aug 24 and Sep 7.

AGC Flat Glass (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary company of Asahi Glass Company Co., Ltd. (AGC), held its opening ceremony on the 3 August 2006.

Founded in the Suzhou Industrial Park on 15 April 2004, AGC has invested USD 120 million (including working capital) and registered capital of USD 40 million. Our Company started production from April 2006 with production capacity of 700 tons per day.
